It folds out into a US 1-sheet size poster of the Australian Philosopher’s
Song with various Python jokes on the other side. Highly collectable; please
make me an offer I can’t refuse…)
Academy Cinema
The Academy Cinema in Oxford Street, W1, was an arthouse cinema that closed
in the 80s after about 60 years of existence and that used to print its own
posters, as designed by émigré European master Peter Strausfeld.
As such, they were only used in this one cinema and were items of absolute beauty
as well as being ultra-rare and collectable. I have a number of these for sale:
