FANTASIA – DELUX COLLECTOR’S EDITION – a special boxed limited
edition released by Disney in the 1980s. Comprises: VHS of Fantasia VHS of
Fantasia – the Making of a Masterpiece; digitally remastered soundtrack
over 2 CDs; original commemorative lithograph; full-colour 32 page commemorative
brochure; certificate of authenticity signed by Roy Disney. Never opened –
still in shrinkwrap. £45
Dupes, bootlegs, imports etc
These tapes, most 3 or 4 hours long and thus usually containing two films, are
the remnants of a collection established during the UK ‘video nasty’
era. As such, they have come from disparate sources; bear in mind that they
may be of variable picture quality, may have foreign subtitles or may even be
in a foreign language (I have marked this where I could). Most, however, are
in English and are perfectly watchable – please feel free to enquire as
to the state of individual tapes. These tapes are from a time before certificated
UK releases of Driller Killer, Last House, etc, and before DVD. However, many
of these films are still unavailable in the UK (and elsewhere) or are heavily
censored here. Most are uncut but, as ever, enquire about individual items.
Extra information is provided as I feel it necessary (relating to genre, director,
cuts etc). Various trailers may be included on some of the tapes and TV recordings
may be in long play. Chances are most are uncut, but when I’m 100% sure
I’ve said so; likewise, if I know them not to be, I have also said so.
I spent years assembling this collection, but I desperately need the shelf space it now occupies; as such, I'm selling each tape for £3 or 4 for £10 – UK postage is FREE. Discounts will be offered for bulk buys. Picture quality may vary –
